Qatari mediators return to Tehran for a new round of US–Iran diplomacy
Independent reports describe a Monday-night visit; no final agreement was announced.
Qatari mediators returned to Tehran on the evening of November 2 for further discussions on a possible agreement with the United States, The Times of Israel reported, citing a diplomat familiar with the negotiations.
Al-Araby Al-Jadeed separately reported an Iranian source saying the delegation was heading to Tehran that night, led by an adviser to Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister. This is a new visit after the previously reported Doha meetings, rather than confirmation of a deal. Neither account establishes that an agreement has been completed or the Strait of Hormuz reopened.
