UNRWA employees and supporters marched in Gaza’s Nuseirat camp on November 2 against threatened job cuts, AFP and The New Arab reported from separate interviews. The union warned of damage to education, healthcare and relief. UNRWA told AFP that financial and operational difficulties could require difficult decisions; the matter remained under review. The photograph shows a Gaza school opening in 2013.
