Les autorités judiciaires libanaises ont élargi l'enquête sur les explosifs saisis le 5 octobre au barrage de Dahr el-Baydar, selon Asharq Al-Awsat, afin d'établir l'origine, les destinataires et le but de la cargaison.

Selon L'Orient Today, environ 300 kg d'explosifs ont été saisis et deux personnes arrêtées. Une source militaire dit qu'elles appartiennent au Hezbollah ; une source du parti et deux sources sécuritaires n'ont pu le confirmer, tandis que le député Hassan Fadlallah affirme que les explosifs sont au parti et exige leur restitution. Une manifestation à Baalbeck a visé les caméras et les contrôles de camions. L'accusation de caméras sabotées repose sur un seul message et n'est pas confirmée.
