Snap settles two young plaintiffs’ social-media harm claims before trial
Settlement terms were not disclosed.
Snap settled claims by two young plaintiffs in Los Angeles on November 2, avoiding a trial over alleged addictive design and mental-health harms. Other platform defendants had already settled.
The confidential agreement is not a court finding that Snapchat caused the alleged injuries. Snap says it has introduced safeguards. The image shows a Los Angeles courthouse in 1983, not these proceedings.
