Washington’s 35 points lift Sagesse past NSA in a 96–93 comeback
November 2 reporting details Sunday’s Lebanese league victory; the result is separate from Sagesse’s earlier Arab title.
Sagesse beat host NSA 96–93 in the Lebanese basketball league on Sunday, November 1. Sport W Bass’s match report and Nidaa Al Watan’s November 2 sports roundup independently describe the victory, also covered by Beirut 24.
Deshawndre Washington led Sagesse with 35 points and 15 rebounds, while Youssef Khayat added 22 points. Ali Haidar scored 24 for NSA.
NSA led 30–20 after the opening quarter. Sagesse narrowed the deficit but remained behind entering the fourth, then won that period 24–17 to complete the comeback and turn a difficult opening into a three-point victory. This is a domestic league result, separate from the club’s earlier Arab championship success. The accompanying basketball photograph is illustrative; it does not show Sunday’s game or its equipment.
